How to buy our eBooks using cryptocurrency (easy guide)
Buying with crypto is quick and private. Here’s a plain-language, step-by-step guide for first-time buyers.
Quick overview
We use a trusted payment processor so you can pay with common cryptocurrencies (for example Ethereum and other stablecoins). After payment clears you’ll be given a secure link to download your eBook.
What you’ll need
- A crypto wallet (a place to hold/send cryptocurrency). Examples: Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Exodus.
- Some cryptocurrency in that wallet (for example BTC, ETH, or a stablecoin like USDC).
- Your email address (we may send a receipt or order link if required by the payment provider).
Step-by-step (for absolute beginners)
If you already have a wallet, skip to Step 2.
- Install a wallet app on your phone or create a web wallet extension (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet are popular choices).
- Follow the wallet’s setup instructions — write down the recovery phrase and keep it safe (this is how you recover your wallet if you lose your device).
You can buy crypto on an exchange (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance, or your local exchange) using a credit card, bank transfer, or other methods.
- Buy a small amount to start — you only need enough to cover the book price plus a small network fee.
- If you want to avoid price volatility, buy a stablecoin (USDC/USDT) where available.
On the book listing click Buy / Download for the title you want.
You will be taken to the payment page (NowPayments). Choose the cryptocurrency you want to pay with and follow the instructions:
- If you use a wallet app, scan the QR code or copy the payment address and send the exact amount shown.
- If you use an exchange, you may need to withdraw the crypto to the payment address — be careful to use the same currency and network (e.g. ERC-20 vs BEP-20) requested by the checkout.
After the payment is confirmed you’ll be redirected back (or shown) a secure download link. Click the link to download your eBook. Keep this file safe — it’s yours to keep.
Simple tips to avoid problems
- Always send the exact amount shown (including small decimals). Overpaying may complicate processing.
- Make sure you select the correct blockchain network when sending (if the checkout asks for ETH on Ethereum, don’t send BSC tokens unless it explicitly supports them).
- If your wallet shows a transaction fee estimate, allow it — fees pay for the network to process your transaction.
- If the payment page shows a QR code, scanning it is easiest and avoids copy/paste mistakes.
Frequently asked questions
Most payments take from a few seconds to a few minutes. Bitcoin confirmations can take longer (sometimes ~10 minutes). The checkout will tell you when payment is confirmed and the download link will appear after confirmation.
What if I don’t get a download link?First check the payment status on the checkout screen. If the payment completed and you still don’t see a link, contact us at sales@swanbookstore.com and include your order ID (shown on the checkout). We’ll help you retrieve the file.
Which cryptocurrencies do you accept? We accept whatever the checkout provider supports — commonly Bitcoin, Ethereum, and major stablecoins. The checkout will display the available options at payment time.
Can I get a refund?Refunds depend on the payment provider and the nature of the purchase. Digital goods are usually non-refundable once downloaded, but if there’s a technical issue we’ll do our best to help. Contact us with your order details.
Is it safe?Yes — payments are handled by a trusted processor and files are delivered via secure links. Never give your wallet recovery phrase to anyone — no legitimate seller or support person will ever ask for it.
Quick troubleshooting checklist
- Payment failed: Make sure you sent the correct currency and network, and that you included the full amount.
- Transaction pending: wait a few minutes — some networks are slow during high traffic.
- Wrong network: if you sent using the wrong blockchain, recovery is difficult — contact support immediately but understand that some mistakes cannot be reversed.
